What it does:
A fun team activity designed to explore how accurate team members are when under pressure.
This is a more demanding version of the basic Colour Confusion activity. It can be used with people who have tried the more basic version.
You will need:
One complete set of Name, Colour and Shape cards per team cut out from the template provided.

What it does:
A quick team activity designed to demonstrate that just because someone has a different viewpoint/perspective, it doesn’t mean that they are not right too.

What it does:
Tests how good participants' attention to detail is. It also
looks to see how persistent and patient they are.
You will need:
A printed copy of the Getting an Accurate Picture handout for each participant/team.

What it does:
Demonstrates how easy it is for communication to break down and for misunderstandings to occur.
You will need:
Space for your team to wait outside the room until they are called in one at time. You'll also need a picture (two are provided in the handout in the resources tab), a flipchart and a stopwatch or phone with a timer.

What it does:
An activity designed to test the teamwork and accuracy levels of your team.
You will need:
Each team will need a copy of the puzzle and a set of coloured pencils or pens. Spare plain paper should also be available for the teams. We've also provided a simple example puzzle solution to share with the team either by PowerPoint or on screen. A prize for the winning team is optional.

Who can join the dots, fill in the blanks and not have any crossovers?

Time required:20 minutes.
What it does:
A great way to share key facts and figures about your organisation or team during the induction process.
You will need:
A set of Number Fun Cards for every two to three participants. If using large numbers in the calculations, you will also need to provide a set of the Extra Cards (see the Exercise tab) as well as access to calculators.

What it does:
Reviews the kind of accuracy errors that can occur and the actions that can be taken to avoid them.

Copies of the Reporting Errors Handout for each of your team members as well as a copy of the Crib Sheet for you. A flipchart and pens will also be useful.

Demonstrates the importance of using summary and clarification to check understanding.

A Lunch Order Form for each participant and a copy of Briefs 1 and 2 for each pair.

What it does:
Each team faces a challenge designed to put their problem solving skills to the test. Help them to discover what behaviours are effective, which may cause issues and how they can apply this back to the workplace.

Tests the listening and recall skills of your staff, enabling them to explore barriers to listening effectively. It will also enable you all to create a list of Listening Tips for your staff.

A ball or other soft object for team members to catch, plus enough space for your team to stand in a circle. A flipchart to document the key learning points.
